We are a publishing office and recently went to the Richo printer as detailed above. The first one lasted a few weeks and fouled up when printing full colour pages and they literally glued themselves to the mechanism inside the printer.
During this time we had to buy a new full set of cartridges, not cheep. We received a new printer, it looked identical but had a new number, the new cartridges we had bought did not work in the new printer that had been supplied with enough ink for around 200 pages of printing so a new set had to be bought. Not cheap. This one lasted for about a month and fouled up just when we needed it most so had to buy a new one for the next day to carry on working, not cheap.
We have just set about printing our 200 or so envelopes for Xmas cards and each envelope comes out as if squashed under a steam roller. (We have set it up for envelopes.) We are hoping our clients will think this the fault of the sorting office.
We have no choice but to send them as is. Worst printers in the world.
