Scansnap want you to switch software to an updated software called Scansnap.com
However it will not transfer the files across and the customer service don't know how to sort this out. So they said it was sent to the specialist department but they haven't contacted me for weeks and won't reply to emails. Awful service.

The place where I work replaced a Canon printer with a Ricoh. No one likes the Ricoh. It is the most difficult copier to use. It has the brain power of a 3 month old child.

Scans take 10 minutes or more to show up on the computer where they are sent, IF they ever show up. Sometimes it takes multiple scans of the same document for it to finally arrive.
The copier is the most user unfriendly machine I have ever encountered.
There are MANY steps just to make a simple copy. And you can't copy more than one document without having to log in and enter all of the same information each time.
It's ridiculous.
No one where I work likes this machine. We all wish we had our old Canon back.
From what I have experienced, Ricoh technology is at least 10 behind other companies.

Not user friendly!

My place of business replaced a Canon copier/printer with a Ricoh. I don't know why anyone would do this to their employees.
We went from a fast easy to use machine to something that takes multiple steps and not just one or two. For being user friendly, it is 20 years behind the curve.
The only person who likes the Ricoh printer is the person who selected it. Everyone else on staff hates it and how frustrating it is to use.

- - Purchased a used Ricoh copier and moved it to our office in Nov 2023; six months later issues persist despite calls, emails, and a service agreement.
We purchased a used Ricoh copy machine from a business associate with the intent to transfer the machine and the service contract to our business. The machine was moved to our office at the end of November 2023.
It is now 6 months later. After many phone calls and emails and even signing a new service agreement, it seems that Ricoh still does not have its 'i's dotted and 't's crossed.
According to the customer service representative today, it appears that the issue must be taken care of via another email request to the billing department. We love our machine, but Ricoh provides terrible customer service.

Place of business replaced Canon with Ricoh

My place of business recently replaced their Canon copier with a Ricoh. I sure miss the Canon which was easy to use.
The Ricoh is like stepping back in time technologically 10-15 years.
It is so cumbersome to use. There are many steps to copy or scan. It is not user friendly and takes a long time to receive and print documents from my computer.
I'm not the only person on staff who feels this way. We all agree that the machine is a pain to use.

Everything about RICOH USA completely sucks
- - Customer service is poor and unhelpful.

The customer service is the worst. Its like no actual people work there to help resolve anything.
We have had billing and EFT issues since last spring and they still cant get it resolved.
I have replied to their emails doing everything but telling them where to shove their printer (which is a contract we should never have entered) and its like replying to a robot programmed to do nothing but give the same lame responses. AVOID THIS COMPANY and go buy a printer somewhere else.

BILLING DISPUTE
- - I have been a Ricoh customer for 35 years.
- - In 2022 I bought a new machine; delivery was late.
- - They prorated the old contract and billed a 3x rate.
I've done business with Ricoh for 35 years. In 2022, I purchased a new machine to replace the old one I had with them.
My yearly contract came up for renewal in August 2022. I purchased the machine that month but they couldn't deliver the machine until end of September. They prorated my monthly service agreement on the old contract (which I agreed to), however, they hit me with a per copy charge that was three times more than my new contract rate. They couldn't deliver the machine and I got penalized on the rate charge.
They outsource their billing and honestly it's difficult to understand what they are saying and no one seems to know what they are doing.
I will never do business with this company again. BEWARE!!!

Worst ticketing system ever!!!
- - Support tickets have no follow-up option; attachments only for consumables, not hardware.
- - Staple orders route to an MS Form that only allows one item.
there is no way to follow up any support ticket placed, on their support page it only offers the ability to add an attachment when ordering consumables WHY? the only time you would want to attach an item would be if there were an issue with hardware, but there's no choice to add an attachment with a hardware support ticket.
And when ordering staples for their machines you enter a type but they still send an email directing you to a poorly created MS Form which doesn't give you the option to order more than a single item at a time.
Useless
their auto ordering system is screwed up also, I have to manually order toner for some of their printers while I'm being inundated with un-necessary toners for other printers. Worse than useless.
Do not go Ricoh for enterprise solutions!!!Don't choose Ricoh

RUN!! Absolutely absurd customer service
I wonder if the only thing Ricoh excels at is driving sane people insane?
No ticketing system, worse customer service than a cable company, and rude/limited knowledge agents-- Although judging by Ricoh's employment reviews, that's probably because the company stole their souls. I've run into such minor issues that turned into larger problems on account of this over the last 5 years. It's almost laughable!
Do yourself a favor and go with anyone else before the entire company soon goes under.
