Not resolved

We purchased a production machine with Ricoh and at the time of us looking at the machine they said it could run carbonless as long as it meets the specs. Which our paper does.

Mind you I ask if we could run carbonless 5 times and each time they said yes. Now after having the machine around 4 years they are wanting to change their mind and now we can not run carbonless, because they say it hurt the machine and they are now charging us for the replacement parts, which we were never told. They are liars. DO NOT TRUST THEM, THEY JUST LOOK FOR REASON TO CHARGE YOU MORE FOR THINGS.

I Work for this *** company and am very sorry for the poor customer service. I can't wait to leave

The chemicals from carbonless paper are absorbed by the fused rolls and create image quality problems. Sales will not tell you that is a problem, but their service dept sure will after you buy one of these lemons.

And they will want to bill you for thousands of dollars to repair the fusers, which should be covered under your service contract.

The deception doesn't stop there, either. Expressed dissatisfaction is met with more lies and excuses as the issues are never resolved, it's like beating a dead horse.

Yes, service techs have been specifically tasked to charge customers for T&M calls, even if they have a service contract.

I worked in Ricoh Service for 10 years, they wanted the service techs to have a chargeable once a month, a part that the customer broke. a network charge, they charge labor and for the part, they are hurting for money. But the higher up's still get their big bonus's.
